A Chinese medicine expert has revealed how often you should be having sex based on your age to avoid 'disease' and 'emotional stress.'
Nina Cheng is the founder of The Eastern Philosophy - a small business that specialized in herbal medicines - and frequently shares educational videos about traditional Chinese health remedies on TikTok.
In one of her latest clips, the owner dished on the frequency you should be getting tangled up in the sheets with your lover based on how old you were.
She told her more than 286,000 followers that 'insufficient sex' was considered an illness in Chinese medicine before sharing how often you should be having an orgasm whether you're 20 or 60 years old.

In the viral video, which has so far amassed more than 2,800 views, Nina said: 'Did you know that insufficient sex is considered a cause of disease in traditional Chinese medicine?'
The small business owner shared more surprising information about how often you should be sleeping with your partner in her caption.
She added: 'While traditional Chinese medicine often stresses the potential long-term effects of excessive sexual activity, many do not realize that insufficient sex is also considered a cause of disease in Chinese medicine.
'As noted by the late TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) doctor, Giovanni Maciocia, "Insufficient sex is often a cause of disease akin to emotional stress, especially in Western women."
'Ancient Chinese physicians believed that women were more likely to experience greater sexual frustration since they were subject to different societal norms and may not have felt as permitted to express themselves sexually compared to men. '
Nina then shared how often you should be having an orgasm based on your age.
She said that if you were in your 20s, you should be having sex every four days, while people in their 30s should aim for every eight days.
As your age increases, the amount of time in between orgasms doubles.
So, if you're in your 40s, you should have sex every 16 days, while those in their 50s should engage in sexual activity every 21 days.
Lastly, if you're in your 60s, you should have sex every 30 days.
